Natural Skin Care Tips For Aging Skin

Skin problems are unfortunately very common in every human life. The skin being the largest part of a body is in fact the easiest way to get infected. Besides, most part of the skin remains exposed to heat, dust and air especially our face. This leads to various common and major skin problems like aging or wrinkling.

Factors like heredity, the damage caused by ultraviolet rays of the sun have a significant influence on the aging process. Since diet plays a large part in on human skin, the first step for overcoming aging problem is to make dietary changes. The key for maintaining a youthful glow is a lifetime dedication to healthy lifestyle and constant skin care. The fact is that beauty treatments related to skin will not help if a healthy lifestyle is not maintained. The aging of skin may be inevitable. But there are certain natural skin care tips to slow down wrinkles or avoid flabby skin. One common therapy is using of skin creams. It may be a part of your daily regime, but the best way to start an anti aging effort is from inside our body.

First of all, it is necessary to check our water intake. There are varying opinions about how much water an individual needs for good health, but the general consensus remains that probably we aren’t drinking enough water. This means dryness and wrinkles. So it’s necessary to hydrate our skin by drinking plenty of water. But remember that alcohol, tea, tobacco and soft drinks contains caffeine and can dehydrate our skin leading to a wrinkle prone skin.

On this context, a multivitamin is always acceptable. But instead of going for any multivitamin tablets, it’s better to include plenty of fruits and vegetables in our diet. It’s because our body easily absorbs nutrients from food.

People who look younger than their age, repeatedly reveal one vital secret and that is getting enough sleep with a bit of daily exercise. Exercise helps our body to keep our weight down helps to digest our food easily and makes our sleep easy.

A good sleep and a exercise helps us from aging, speed up our heart beats and at the same time tone our muscles by getting the blood flowing to the skin.

Sometimes we might feel that we don’t have enough time to take care of our skin or to follow certain skin care tips, but remember a healthy skin will not only make you look younger but also make you feel younger.

Skin Aging – Are You Speeding Up The Process?

It’s no secret that our society is obsessed with looking young. As baby boomers turn 60, statistics show the U.S. market for anti-aging products and services is “growing at an average growth rate (AAGR) of 9.5%, this market will surpass $90 billion in 2012”.

While science has made advancements in both topical and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, certain lifestyle factors, such as smoking, sleep loss and sun exposure, can unknowingly sabotage your personal aesthetic goals.

Although natural aging is a given, inherited by our genes–we do have control over extrinsic aging. Known as premature aging, it is caused by poor lifestyle habits that actually accelerate skin aging, including wrinkles, rough texture and uneven pigmentation.

According to leading dermatologist Jeannette Graf, current research reveals that the following dynamics accelerate the skin’s aging process.

>> Sun exposure–No surprise here: The sun does not do a complexion good. From basic dryness to a high risk of melanoma and other skin cancers, UV rays cause daily damage to skin. “Wearing a high SPF sunscreen every day is the one product I recommend to all of my patients,” says Graf.

>> Smoking–Another culprit that robs skin of its health, smoking not only directly damages the fibers that provide elasticity and support, causing skin to prematurely wrinkle and droop–but it also decreases the flow of both blood and vital nutrients to the skin’s surface, leaving it dry and crinkled looking.

>> Diet–What you put into your body is just as important as what you put on, says Graf. A high-fiber diet rich in antioxidant fruits and vegetables will result in a healthier and more radiant complexion. Bottom line: Limit alcohol and cola consumption, which depletes the body of its nutrients, and add more wholesome foods, such as lean proteins, fruits, green leafy vegetables and plenty of fresh water.

>> Sleep loss–While sleep deprivation is known to cause weight gain and loss of mental concentration, it also affects skin health by robbing it of its precious rejuvenation time. During slumber, your skin, as well as your body, undergoes a period of revitalization. Loss of sleep interrupts this phase, imparting the telltale signs, such as dark under-eye circles and dry, flaky complexion.

Aging is inevitable, but you can certainly make small efforts to ensure that you don’t help speed it along. By getting a good night’s sleep, eating a healthful diet and using sun protection each day, you’ll be sure to keep both your skin (and body) looking young and vibrant.

Anti-aging Info And Advice

With more and more people living for longer periods, anti-aging is becoming big business. This article looks into what causes premature aging and gives advice on how to keep looking younger for longer.

The latest research shows that around seventy-five percent of skin aging is caused by an over exposure to the sun. This is a huge figure and one that has to be taken seriously for anyone who is looking at ways in delaying the aging process.

In my opinion this is actually common sense as when anything becomes burnt it tends to shrivel up and become all wrinkly. This is what can happen to peoples skin, it may not happen straight away but after maybe thirty years of this over exposure to the sun, wrinkles are likely to appear.

For people who enjoy spending time sunbathing as it makes them feel good and they like looking tanned, I would advise a strong sun cream. This should be used regularly as per the instructions and if you start to feel your body burning up this is the time when you should be looking for some shade or to cover up.

It is also important to ensure we get enough sleep. Research suggests that people who only average around six hours sleep per night will age in looks far quicker than people who average eight hours.

Again this is very logical as if you have a period of a couple of weeks when you do not get enough sleep, bags can appear under your eyes. If you have a really good nights sleep you tend to wake up not only feeling fresh and awake but also looking fresh and healthy. My advice here for people who have developed these bags under their eyes would be to use a good eye cream or to gently massage their eyes every day.

Smoking can certainly speed up the aging process. To quit smoking is not easy however but it is a must for people on a quest to delay the aging process. There are of course many other reasons to stop smoking, therefore be brave and look at ways to quit smoking today.

I have often heard people refer to somebody with a comment such as, he looks as if he has had a hard life. This is often referred to somebody who looks far older than they actually are. They look like they have not been looked after or that they have not had enough love in their lives.

What I think has happened is that they have had a stressful life. What we therefore need to do is to attempt to live as much of a stress-free life as possible. This of course is not that easy. What we need to do is to think in a more positive and pro-active way. We need to start to like ourselves and be happy with who we are and what we have. Thinking in this way will certainly in my opinion help you in your quest of anti-aging.

Skin Care

Natural Anti-aging Skincare

Nothing has been more better pursued by people than antiaging methods. Since it is such a heart subject it involves a lot of mystique and unfounded beliefs. Sometimes myths are better looked at and believed than the naked truth because they are more popular since they are usually spread by word of mouth, and they come from tradition. There are some natural antiaging skincares that are traditional.

The best way today to keep fit and healthy is exercise. With the age the body metabolism slows down, and same slows down the blood circulation, the body oxygenation. Exercise keeps the body going and with it increases the blood circulation to all of the parts of the body including the skin.

Good exercise provides good blood circulation, this provides adequate oxygenation to the skin making it supple and radiant.

Probably everyone knows the term – beauty sleep. People say that if you sleep four hours before midnight you will not get wrinkles for a long time. And the true is that sleep plays a major role in the way your skin looks.

Research has proved beyond any doubts that good sleep does really affect the skin cells life circle and elasticity. Getting regular sufficient sleep is one the best antiaging skincares you will ever get at absolutely no cost.

The human body’s composition is mostly made of water. Hence if there is a depletion of water many complications set in, aging of skin being one of the most minor of them, though one of the most visible. One of the best antiaging skincares that are affordable and within everyone’s reach is drinking plenty of water, that’s definitely.

There are also a number of herbal and natural cosmetic products today that are freely available on the market which make exceptionally good antiaging skincares aids.

Here’s are some examples:

There is the sun block which prevents the damage of skin due to sun burn and UV rays, there is the lipstick which keeps your lips moisturized and protected from sun, there is the moisturizer which will keep the skin supplied with the water it needs, and the list goes on.

The true is that you cannot stop aging, but you can definitely slow it down if you are willing to regulate your habits in your life and observe a few ground rules for your skin care on a daily basis. Antiaging skincare does not need to be something extraordinarily expensive or complicated.

If you respect nature, believe me, it has it’s way of saying ‘thanks’ to you and your skin. So choose natural antiaging skincares first and you’ll be rewarded.
